If I pick up Coronavirus on the jobsite, is someone liable? Do I have some sort of workers comp or personal injury claim?

Possibly both. If you were exposed to the novel coronavirus onsite as a result of your job requirements and came down with Covid-19, you may have a workers’ compensation claim. If you contracted the virus from the negligence of a person who worked at a different company, you might have a civil personal injury claim against the other company and individual. For example, imagine a subcontractor on a jobsite fails to require its employees to follow social distancing, PPE protocols for wearing masks, or allows infected workers to continue working on a multi-employer site. If you catch Covid-19 from the employee of another company, you could have a personal injury claim against the other company.
